The 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari is your ideal short gateway with a sole purpose of seeing Rwanda’s mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat;- The Volcanoes National Park.
This in particular begins and ends in Kigali but the trip can begin from any part of Rwanda and end anywhere as you please. The package is available on budget, mid-range and luxury basis. You can always let us know what you prefer.
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Kigali and embark on your journey northwards to Ruhengeri – the base town for Volcanoes National Park where you will arrive late afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Overnight: Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge
Meals: Half Board.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Rwanda
Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed. The briefing is at 7 am. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from one to seven hours.
Trekking through the steep, bamboo slopes and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment.
Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away.
Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will drive you back to the lodge where you can relax in the afternoon or go for another walk to visit one of the communities around.

Day 3: Kigali and Departure.
Depart the lodge for Kigali International airport. Depending on your flight departure time, you will take some time off to visit the genocide memorial centre before you depart Rwanda. The driver will drop you off at the airport well in time for your check in.
