This 7 days safari in Kenya begins and ends in Nairobi and leads you to major safari destinations for remarkable game viewing, cultural tour and birding experience.
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Park
Your driver / guide will pick you up from the airport (morning arrival) or your hotel in Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara National Park with a stopover at the view point at the great rift valley and lunch en-route at Narok town.
Proceed to Mara and embark on the evening game drive where you can expect to see some big game and birds. Proceed to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive & Masai Dance
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge / hotel and head out to the park for the morning game drive. Game viewing begins immediately and thanks to the extensive tracks, you can explore the park at depth through its savannah plains and rolling hills.
Expect to see herds of Buffaloes, Zebras, the towering Giraffes, wildebeest in hundreds, huge baboon troops, Lions, Elephants and a great deal of birds including the rare Ostriches.
Break off for picnic lunch at the hippo pool where you will look out for the hippos and Crocodiles. Continue with the afternoon game drive and visit the Masai village for an evening dance with the Masai people and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy breakfast and depart Masai Mara on your way to Lake Nakuru with lunch en-route. Enjoy the verdant scenic views on your journey and distant view of lakes; Naivasha & Elementaita from the main road and continue to Nakuru arriving in the evening.
Proceed to your booked hotel / lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Lake Naivasha
Wake up to an early morning breakfast and head out for a game drive where you can expect to see the Cape Buffalo, waterbucks and other small animals. Nakuru also has the white rhino conservancy nut the key attraction are the pink flamingos that swam the shoreline.
Have lunch and drive to Lake Naivasha where you can take on the boat ride or visit the Crescent Island to see the hippos and fish eagle. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel / lodge of choice.
Day 5: Nature Walk / Cycling & on to Amboseli National Park
Have breakfast and go for a guided nature walk in Hells Gate National Park or opt for cycling.
The park is home to more than 100 bird species and you can also expect to see some African buffalo, Klipspringer Antelope, Eland, Zebra, Hartebeest and Thomson’s gazelle.
Later embark on the journey to Amboseli National Park arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at your booked hotel / lodge.
Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Early morning breakfast and head out for extensive game drives in Amboseli with picnic lunch and guaranteed sights of giant African Elephants and hippos in the swampy grounds. The plains are dotted with wildlife including antelopes and lots of birds.
Return to the hotel / lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer to Nairobi & Departure.
Have early morning breakfast and embark on a transit game drive and continue with your drive back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Nairobi or the airport for your onward flight.
